  Where to start?? Well, we stopped to park for the night at 11:00 pm on a Saturday night. Pulled up to fuel island and noticed 5 porta Johns outside Driver's entrance. Their driver facilities, restrooms, showers, lounge, etc., completely closed off for "renovations" and have been for months!!! The only restrooms were all the way on other side of the building thru the Casino. Which is only accessible by one door located on the outside of the Casino (on the opposite side of truck stop). So, after realizing we'd have to go another night without a shower we decided to grab a bite to eat. Both the restaurant and Subway were already closed and only options were the leftovers from lunch hours earlier at their Hot Deli counter. Which by the way, cost $10 a plate that wasn't fit for my dog. We opted for a smoked sausage link on a hard bun and a greasy meat pie you could barely bite into. That delicious meal set us back $14, not including the heartburn medication needed after ingesting that garbage. We then proceeded to park and ended up next to a guy who was running a generator all night. Can't really blame that on TA, but by this time I was so aggravated I didn't care. Anyway, my point in sharing this horribly miserable experience is to help my fellow drivers avoid making the same mistake. Drive on a few miles down interstate to either Flying J or Petro. This TA DOES NOT cater to truck drivers!!
